Our New Look

Healthvision recently updated our brand identity to better reflect who we are today and what inspires us every day to do our mahi.

In the life of every company there come moments when you need to look more closely at who you are or, better yet, who you’ve become, and then make that visible to others.

For us, one of those moments came in 2022.

So, we got some people together from across Healthvision, both staff and service users, and after a lot (and we really do mean a lot!) of creativity sessions, the Rise Creative team has been super busy updating our visual identity to reflect what we’ve become and how our company is approaching many things today.

We thought it was important that we didn’t lose sight of our longstanding reputation and our humbling origin story, so we haven’t strayed too far from the Healthvision look you know.

But we did decide to do something a lot more dynamic. Bold. Modern. Something that would also represent where we’ve been, who we’ve become, and where we’re going.

  • We added more focus on the energy and fun our people bring to Healthvision, and which make us stand out from other providers.

  • We searched our beautiful Aotearoa for inspiration on colour.

  • We included key elements that convey our vision and orientation for growth.

  • We embraced our broadening understanding of te ao Māori.

  • And we tipped our hat to our recognised service delivery expertise.

When you put those things together, we think it’s a powerhouse combination.

Our new look and feel represents our transformation and renewed commitment to make a meaningful difference in the day-to-day lives of our clients, our staff, and our communities.

This marks a new Healthvision both inside and out that looks forward with enthusiasm.

  • It reminds us that we love what we do, and that enjoying it, and each other, is good for all of us, and especially our clients.

  • It reflects a strategy focused on harnessing innovation to help you solve some of the challenges that health care providers and professionals face today and will face tomorrow.

  • It recognises that we can never lose sight of where we all come from, and our services need to address where people are when we’re given the privilege of being invited into their life.

  • It encourages us to lean into our strengths while moving forward to develop services that build on what we do and which we can deliver across Aotearoa.

  • It acknowledges that, like the brilliant variety of Aotearoa’s natural beauty, we are a multicultural society.

Although we’ve evolved greatly since we were founded in 1999, our company was founded on four core values: care, innovation, dedication, and collaboration. These values continue to drive our people, as we strive to lift the level of healthcare throughout Aotearoa.

Here are a few things that have changed:

  • The logo simplifies our mission but continues to symbolise our vision that at the centre of everything is you.

  • Our new colour palette retains our legacy blue, and introduces new vibrant colours of Aotearoa to represent a sense of energy and fun.

  • Molecular shapes are intended to show the connections of the various services to create a plexus or network of care for people. This builds on the legacy of the existing logo, but uses new, simplified ways to convey the idea of connected, integrated care. It’s still true that nobody does integrated care as well as Healthvision.

  • Our tukutuku represents the te ao hurihuri – an ever-evolving world. It tells our story and is unique to Healthvision, while representing authenticity, trust, stability, uniformity, honesty, and equality. It also represents our closer affinity with Tangata Whenua, and our deepening understanding and appreciation of te ao Māori.

Along with announcing our new brand identity, we have revamped our corporate website. The new site delivers rich new content in a modern, clean, and organised layout to provide visitors with easy access to our information, highlighting our services and people. It presents us better and create a clear picture of our service and presence in Aotearoa.

We really appreciate your support for what we do and look forward to continuing this journey with you.
