Caoimhe Carroll

Physiotherapy

Caoimhe graduated from University College Dublin in 2019. She remained in Dublin and worked as a sports physiotherapist, focusing on strength and conditioning-based rehab in a gym environment and pitch side cover for a variety of sports teams including rugby, soccer and Gaelic Football. From here, she completed rotations in Belfast’s acute hospitals in Northern Ireland.

Caoimhe fostered a passion in working with post-operative fracture and poly-traumas during her time there. She then moved to New Zealand in 2021 and has been working in community-based rehab focusing on people with spinal cord injuries and fractures.

She is a strong advocate for exercise and education as primary rehab tools and hopes to empower people to take ownership and autonomy over their injury and lead their rehab.

Caoimhe enjoys training and plays Gaelic Football.
