Homecare
Everyday help. On your doorstep.
Need a little extra help following surgery, living with a disability, or staying well as you age? Our Support Workers come to you, helping you stay safe, comfortable and independent in your own home.
We work with you and your whānau to understand your needs and routines, providing practical support with warmth, respect and dignity.
Our Homecare services can include:
-
A Healthvision Support Worker will come to you and help with showering, bathing and personal care, always with warmth, respect and dignity. They'll follow your routines and preferences, so you feel comfortable and in control of your own care.
-
Starting the day feeling like yourself matters. Your Support Worker can help with getting dressed, hair care, shaving and other grooming, at a pace that suits you and in the way you like things done.
-
From preparing nourishing meals you enjoy to keeping on top of laundry, cleaning and everyday household jobs, our Support Workers help keep your home running smoothly, so you can focus on the things that matter to you.
-
Keeping track of medications can be tricky. Your Support Worker can remind you when it's time to take them, helping you stay on track with your health and giving you and your whānau extra peace of mind.
-
Whether you need someone close by through the night, or your family carers need a well-earned break, our Support Workers are there. You'll have reliable, caring support at home, and your whānau can rest knowing you're in good hands. This can include wake and sleep-over support.
-
Coming home after surgery, or at the end of life, you deserve to be cared for gently and with compassion. Our Support Workers provide practical, day-to-day help at home, working alongside your healthcare team to keep you comfortable and supported.
-
Our Support Workers provide patient, understanding care for people living with dementia, helping you keep familiar routines and stay safe and settled at home. We work closely with your whānau, so everyone feels supported as needs change.
-
Behind every Support Worker is our experienced nursing team. Specialist nurses help plan and oversee your care, so you can feel confident your support is safe, well coordinated and adjusted as your health needs change.
-
Getting to appointments can be stressful. Your Support Worker can accompany you to medical appointments, the shops or other errands, and be there with you so you're never managing it alone.
“Yasmin P came to help after I had hip replacement surgery. We found her to be willing and helpful, and she followed instructions keenly.
She was punctual and professional.
We are very happy that she came to help during the time that we needed help in the house.
It was a relief to know that the house was being taken care of while I was not able to vacuum, clean the bathroom and kitchen. She polished the furniture and wiped the lounge furniture. Thank you, Yasmin!"
